Our qualified instructors will take you out in a club craft to give you a feel for
the thrill of sailing. Booking for sailing trials are strictly by timed slots and
must be reserved in advance, book here >>>

Thornton Steward Watersports Centre
A hidden gem, nestled at the gateway to the beautiful
Yorkshire Dales, near Bedale. Our fully equipped clubhouse with showers,
changing facilities, kitchen galley and lounge for visitors. We offer Sailing,
Canoeing, Kayaking, Radio Control Model Sailing, Paddleboarding and RYA
training courses for all experience levels, from Juniors to Seniors and
Beginners to Improvers.

Full range of watersports
The club fleet of Dinghies, Paddleboards and Kayaks are available for
member’s use together with 2 x Radio Control Model Yachts at a minimal hire
cost and our water is open daily from Dawn to Dusk…
Although you must be a club member to use the reservoir.
